Many people commute to school or work on bicycles but this is made more difficult in winter months. “Upgrades” like studded tires are available to make winter cycling easier, but these are often too expensive for the average commuter. The goal of this project is to develop concepts that increase bicycle performance in the snow and ice at a more affordable price than is currently available to the consumer. A working prototype will be delivered upon completion of this project.
