Velovations is a quick-paced, project-driven enterprise here at Michigan Tech.  Students form teams of 3-6 individuals to work on a unique project lasting anywhere from 1 semester to 5 years.  We work on a wide variety of projects, ranging from complex designs of new bike frames to specific issues such as friction in linkages and magnetic, Bluetooth-driven clipless pedals, as well as a diverse range of other projects.  We often partner with companies that work at the forefront of the bicycle industry.

Each team meets weekly to work on their project and progress toward their end-of-semester goals.  We also meet biweekly as an enterprise to give updates on the progress of each project.  This biweekly enterprise meeting is also often attended by potential members seeking information about us.
